Affiliate agrees to:
• Identify a primary contact person to link to the Community Thread Volunteer Center whose job responsibilities involve working with volunteers.
• Respond (to the best of your ability) within 48 business hours of the potential volunteer’s expressed interest. Organizations will incorporate best practices of volunteer management, including using an intake process and providing volunteer orientation, training, supervision and support.
• Be responsible for developing procedure and policy to screen, interview and place potential volunteers. Volunteers who are not appropriate matches for positions within your organization should be referred back to the Volunteer Center.
• Maintain current information using Get Connected and communicate important organizational information (such as staff changes) to Community Thread in a timely manner.
The affiliate undersigned acknowledges and accepts the terms of this agreement with Community Thread Volunteer Center.
